About This Tour
When Moab’s temperatures rise, there’s no better place to cool off than on the Colorado River. Our afternoon half day rafting trip through Castle Valley, also known as the Fisher Towers section, offers a relaxing and scenic way to experience Moab’s iconic red rock landscapes from the water.
This beautiful stretch of the Colorado River combines long, calm sections perfect for taking in the scenery with fun, splashy Class I and II rapids, along with seasonal Class III rapids that add just the right amount of excitement. Towering sandstone cliffs, dramatic canyon walls, and endless desert vistas make this one of the most scenic rafting trips near Moab.
The journey begins with a scenic 55 minute shuttle from downtown Moab to the river, offering incredible views before you ever launch. Once on the water, your guide will share the area’s fascinating geology, history, and wildlife while you enjoy a relaxing float through one of Utah’s most spectacular river corridors. On warm days, there are opportunities to cool off with a swim when conditions allow.
Looking for a little more adventure? Upgrade your experience with an inflatable kayak (ducky) and paddle your own boat through the rapids. It’s the perfect way to add more excitement while still enjoying the same incredible scenery.

Meet & Check In
Arrive at Moab Rivertrippers, 97 South Main Street, Moab, UT 84532. Check in, complete your waivers, and get outfitted for the river.
Scenic Shuttle to the River
Enjoy a scenic 55 minute shuttle through the Colorado River corridor to the launch site. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the area’s unique landscape before providing a thorough safety orientation and paddling instructions.
Launch & Float
Launch onto the Colorado River and enjoy one of Moab’s most scenic rafting trips through Castle Valley and the Fisher Towers section.

- Relax on calm stretches of river with opportunities to swim when conditions allow

Take Out & Return
Arrive at the river take out and board the shuttle for the return trip to downtown Moab. Your adventure concludes back at the Moab Rivertrippers office.

Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund. No refunds within the 72-hour window.
Trip Insurance Available
For 8% of your booking total, cancel up to 12 hours before launch for an 80% refund.
